Continuing my series on how to predictably grow your revenue in 2026 using the outgrow methodology. Tip number three, pick up the phone and call. When was the last time you received a phone call from a vendor or supplier um without there being a problem that they were calling you about? Hm. Yeah, it's hard to think about one. And when you do, I bet I could ask you questions like, were you sitting or standing? Um did you have AirPods in or not? What was the weather like that day? And you probably, if you have thought of an incident, can tell me unbelievable descriptive detail of where you were. That's because you never get these calls. Um, but if I asked you about your emails a week ago, I bet you could tell me zero details. Who even emailed you what was in the emails? Our emails get buried. We get hundreds, if not thousands of them a lot of times in a day. Most go to junk and spam. And then when they do get to your inbox, you see it, you flag it, and you never even remember to get back to the important ones half of the time. Think about it. That's what you do. That's what your clients are doing, too. So, pick up the phone and call. It will differentiate you. Um, it will make you stand out. It will make you connect on a more human level because your customers, they're not getting calls every day. They're getting a lot of those emails that they can barely keep up with. But that phone call, that voicemail saying, "I'm thinking of you." when nothing's wrong. Um, and how can I help you when nothing's wrong? That makes all the difference. So, tip three, pick up the phone and just call them. Don't send an email. Save them for one more email, please.
