The Power of Good Enough NEW

so I'm a recovering perfectionist like many people leaders I know and it's really important to pay attention to when you're doing something do you got it to the point I want to say good enough because I'm not saying that something isn't great but at what point do you stop putting energy in and move on to the next project if you find yourself rewriting that email again and again again or tweaking a project redoing something on a presentation over and over just trying to get that last little bit of perfect often we're missing the mark that extra energy that last little bit of energy if applied to the next thing would get way more done and move things forward much more much faster if we stopped at some point instead of doing all those last little tweaks so the point you find yourself continuously tweaking and changing words and adjusting um whatever you were doing was probably really great before you got to that point and just think if you just use that extra energy to start the next thing how much further you'd be along how much more you would get done so it's really easy as a perfectionist to want to get every last little deepal perfect but often that last little bit doesn't get much result you've already really achieved the outcome and all you're doing is holding yourself back from achieving even more so stop pause and reflect when you start get into the really nitty little GRE tailes and all the tweaking and ask yourself and see is it time to move on to the next thing [Music]
