foreign [Music] do you let your drive for Perfection get in the way of actual forward moving action if you're like most Executives that's the case you want to put the finishing touches on the plan and make sure it's perfect before you present it to anyone you want to make sure you've thought through every possible angle before you take the first step because it's too risky if you haven't thought through everything first the problem is you're actually holding back from execution the sooner we start to execute if there's some strategy and plan not none the more you're actually going to get done and the things that you haven't worked out it's better to work them out as you're learning from the execution or for getting feedback from others than to have every shiny dot worked out in advance when you do that you hold off execution you hold off action and things don't get accomplished a lot more gets accomplished by going 85 percent of the way there and getting feedback and ideas to take it 100 percent then trying to make it perfect and pretty before you ever start and begin so next time you're struggling to get those last few detail else together on a plan it's just not quite perfect yet start to act and execute and then figure out the rest of those details along the way get feedback from others and finish it that way [Music]
