[Music] you hire a builder and you tell them to build you your dream house you want the best house around it it's your dream so the builders build a house it's immaculate it's got gold trimmings it's incredibly expensive it's absolutely ornate beautiful and gorgeous and they finish it and say here's your dream house isn't it amazing and you look at it and you wanted a wood cabin because your dream house is to live out in the woods question that i have is how are the builders supposed to know what your dream is it seems so clear to you because in your mind you said dream house dream is clear but it was not clear to the builders in fact dream what was maybe their dream house they built for you i share this because people are very unclear in their expectations typically when they communicate they think because it's clear to them and they can see it in their mind that everybody else understands what it is they want and need when they ask others to do things but very commonly we are leaving out critical details from our description and left to our own devices people make assumptions based upon their own world view so that builders worldview or nate stone gold your worldview a wood cabin not the same at all and yet both a dream house [Music]
