[Music] so today we're going to talk about failure yes failure a topic most people do not like to talk about they don't like to spend time thinking about and if you actually focus and reflect on your failures there's huge opportunities to learn and gain from so let's talk about how you actually can learn from failures and why you should celebrate your failures now if you fail and next time you do the same thing over the exact same way based on how you failed and it goes bad again that is not a failure failure to celebrate however if you do something wrong make a mistake and you fail and you learn from it you grow from it next time you design something different in the product or you make a different decision as a leader those are growth failures and they are worth a lot and they were celebrating i guess that's really what i wanted to say right we should celebrate the failures that we learn from and grow from and we shouldn't celebrate them alone because we just learn from our failures um how much more powerful we if we learn from others failures and how much powerful would others be if they learn from our failures so take some time reflect what were your most productive failures from last year and have you shared them with anyone else with your team members with your friends with your family did you give them an opportunity to learn from your failures or because they were failures did you hide from them right we tend to do that we tend to sweep them under the rug so i want you to think about your most productive failures last year and my challenge to you is go share them with someone and ask them about theirs learn from theirs share yours to learn and celebrate your failures as long as you're growing and learning from them [Music]
